Chest Hooping
Taken from Chapter 2 of
"Hooping"
An Instructional DVD by Peachysteve
This move can take quite a bit of practice.
My body shape means that the hoop has no support so always wants to fall.
I need to push out under the hoop at every point of contact.
This means rotating the upper chest while keeping your lower body still.
I need to push against the hoop at each side.
You can see the difference here.
I need to push with my chest and my back.
See this here. | ||
As the back is out of view it's easy to ignore it. It really needs to work here.
As you can see. |
When you push out under the hoop all the way round you'll be able to keep the hoop going on your chest at any position.
If you keep it just under the arms then you are in position to move smoothly into neck hooping.
